Why Gold, Why Now?
Gold prices are currently over $3,200/oz and continue to rise. In times of economic uncertainty, gold remains one of the most stable, tangible, and inflation-resistant assets available. With your own mining claim, you're not just investing in gold – you're taking control of the source itself.
Why Trinity County?
Trinity County is renowned as one of California’s most historic and productive gold-producing regions. It boasts a long legacy of successful placer gold recovery from its legendary rivers. The Trinity River itself is a well-known gold-bearing waterway, offering prospectors real, verifiable success, even with basic equipment like pans and sluices.
What You Get with This Claim:
- Exclusive mineral rights to this 20-acre placer claim
- Notarized Quitclaim Deed delivered via UPS/FedEx with tracking within 7 days of full payment
- BLM paperwork and county recording already complete and current through September 1, 2025
- Full rights to explore and extract precious metals and minerals — not just gold
- Professionally staked & marked with visible corner markers
What Is an Unpatented Mining Claim?
You are acquiring mineral rights, not land ownership. The land is federally owned, but your rights to explore and extract minerals are protected under the 1872 Mining Law — as long as you file annual paperwork and fees with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM).
This means:
- You may prospect and mine using panning, sluicing, metal detecting, drywashing, etc.
- You may NOT build permanent structures or residences
- You may camp for up to 14 days, or indefinitely if you're actively prospecting
- You can recreate, hike, quad, horseback ride, and swim on your claim — you just can't live on it full time
Legal Ownership & Maintenance
- All paperwork is filed with BLM and the County Recorder
- Annual maintenance due before September 1 each year
- Maintain your claim by either:
- Paying a $200 BLM maintenance fee, OR
- Filing a Small Miner’s Waiver if you own 10 or fewer claims and performing $100 in annual work
- This is real property and can be sold, leased, or transferred at your discretion
- No mining patents have been granted since 1992 (residential use is not possible)
